Through Port Hunter Toastmasters continued collaboration with Atwea College, we congratulate the recent graduating class of March 2024.
It is a privilege for PHTM, under the head guidance of Vince Reedy (President, PHTM) to teach these public speaking skills to these emerging leaders.
Recent graduate, Hang (pictured, second from left) reflects on the Speechcraft course:
“When I first started the course, I was extremely nervous about speaking in front of an audience.
However, thanks to your guidance and the positive class environment, I have made significant progress and now feel much more confident in my public speaking abilities.
The supportive and encouraging atmosphere created in the class has been truly transformative for me.
Vince’s teaching style and constructive feedback have helped me to overcome my initial fears and develop my skills as a speaker.
The structured approach to learning public speaking, combined with practical exercises and group activities, has been immensely beneficial in building my confidence and improving my delivery.
Moreover, I want to commend the entire class for their openness, camaraderie, and willingness to support each other on this journey.
It has been inspiring to see everyone’s progress and growth throughout the course.
The positive energy and camaraderie among classmates have made the learning experience both enjoyable and fulfilling.
I am excited to continue improving my public speaking skills and look forward to applying what I have learned in future speaking engagements.”
